Ukraine says Belarusian components found in Russia’s Oreshnik ballistic missile

The ballistic missile "Oreshnik" is almost entirely manufactured from components of Russian and Belarusian production. This was announced by Vladyslav Vlasyuk, advisor to the President of Ukraine on sanctions policy.

This missile contains more than 1,000 components manufactured in Russia and about 100 components made in Belarus.

Vlasyuk showed journalists fragments of the "Oreshnik" and the cruise missile "Banderol". He emphasized that the majority were manufactured in 2023–2024, though some date to 2025. In his view, this indicates Russia's ability to produce "Oreshnik" missiles under sanctions conditions using virtually no foreign components — only those manufactured in Belarus and Russia.

Ukrainian experts identified forty Russian and two Belarusian enterprises that participated in the production of the "Oreshnik". Among the Belarusian ones — the "Integral" plant has already been placed under sanctions, while regarding the "Tranzistor" plant (a manufacturer of semiconductor devices and integrated circuits, part of the "Integral" holding), Ukraine will be preparing sanction proposals.

It is reported that this year the Russian army has fired three of the four "Oreshnik" missiles manufactured in 2025 at Ukraine.
