A group of policemen raped a woman in Mahilyou. Three district police officers of Lenin District Department of the Interior and an ex-member of the Penal Department committed the crime, Evening Mahilyou referred to unofficial sources on April 6. One of the policemen in plain clothes got acquainted with the woman at a local disco club. She was tipsy. He brought her to his flat where they drank even more. Then the whole group of men raped her.
The victim complained to the police. According to some sources, she had been beaten and an ambulance took her to hospital. The rapists were detected with the help of security cameras installed at the club. All of them were arrested and brought to Minsk. They tried to pay off and offered the girl 20 thousand dollars, the edition reports.
A criminal case (part 2, article 166 of the Criminal Code) has been started against three people, the Investigation Committee replied to the newspaper. All of them are in jail now. Te details of the incident are being studied.
