WWII shell kills two children in Minsk province field

A tragedy has occurred in Byarezina District of Minsk Province. A 10-year-old boy with various wounds was delivered to hospital on the night of March 24 at 1.40 a.m. Two victims aged 7 and 8 were found nearby. All of them were pupils of Pahostkaya secondary school, Minsk Province rescuers report.

 

The children were found in a field near the village of Beshauka, Byarezina Distarct. The details of the tragedy are being investigated.

"The children were playing in a fallow field and found a WWII shell. Two boys were killed in the blast and one child was injured,” tut.by quotes the Investigation Committee spokesperson Yuliya Hancharova.
