During the show, Euroradio discussed with German Ambassador Peter Dettmar among other things the issue of Belarus' political future.
One of Euroradio listeners asked: "Is the European Union ready to see a politically new Belarus to become part of Russia and pursue an aggressive policy?"
The German diplomat replied as follows:
"I do not see and cannot say about any tendencies to prove that such a reality is possible. This is a stituion that is impossible to imagine either today or tomorrow. We have a totally different vision of Belarus' political future."
