Belarusians sold $1.1 billion more than they bought in 2017

Belarusians sold much more foreign currencies than they bough in the first six months of 2017, according to the statistical data published by the National Bank of Belarus. In January-June, the population of Belarus sold both cash and non-cash foreign currencies in amount of $3 billion 660 million in the equivalentand bought $2 billion 826 million. The net sale by fhysical persons amounted to $1 billion 133 million.

Legal entities, the tax residents of Belarus, sold currencies worth $8,814 billion and bought $8,932 billion. Non-residents sold more currencies than they bought - $250,37 million and $69,15 million, correspondingly.
