The bot of the Telegram OSINT-channel "Belarusian Hayun", which monitors the military activity of Belarusian and Russian forces, has been hacked. Its creators warned their informants that they are at risk.

"We do not know what volume of data may have been downloaded during the time a third-party account had access," writes Anton Matolka. "If you sent information that could identify you, or wrote from accounts that could identify you, you are at risk... At the moment, the critical vulnerabilities have been fixed, but I understand that, unfortunately, we were unable to fully protect people."

He "strongly recommends" that everyone who has been using a Telegram account for an extended period delete it and create a new one.

Matolka explained that the security forces gained access to the chat to which messages from the "Belarusian Hayun" bot were forwarded. "After entering the chat tonight, the chat history was downloaded," he writes. "We do not know whether they managed to download photos and videos, but it is better to assume the worst-case scenario."
