The Belarusian party of the left Fair World is planning to organize a 4-hour picket in the centre of Brest on October 10. Picketers will protest against Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s election for the fifth presidential term.
The application for the action has already been sent to the city executive committee, head of Brest affiliate of the party Lyudmila Dzenisenka told BelaPAN. The picket will be a pre-election action.
"The picket is aimed at discussing Lukashenka’s pre-election programme and agitation against this candidate. We want to display Lukashenka’s rpogramme-2010 and list the things that have not been fulfilled,” Dzenisenka noted.
