Yauhen Baskin seeks exemption from punishment

Servalux CEO Yauhen Baskin and other people involved in his criminal case have compensated for all the damage done to the state. They are seeking exemption from the criminal punishment now, BelaPAN refers to the KGB pres service.

Meanwhile, the investigation is still in process.

 

The administration of Servalux headed by Baskin were detained on March 14, 2016. They are suspected of major tax evasion. The losses totalled 370 billion roubles, KGB announced.

Baskin was jailed after the detention. He was put under house arrest on March 22. Baskin was released on recognizance as he had compensated for all the damages, KGN announced on July 1.
