Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko congratulated the head of Belarus Aliaksandr Lukashenka on re-election during yesterday's presidential elections, reports the state news agency BELTA quoting the press office of Belarusian president.
The heads of state discussed some issues of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations during their conversation. They also agreed to maintain contacts on the matters of mutual interest.
Today in the morning, Lukashenka received congratulations from the Chinese, Russian, Venezuelan leaders as well as from thr Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kiril.
