Aryna Sabalenka (79th in the WTA ranking) unexpectedly suffered defeat against Switzerland's Victoria Golubic (116) 5-7, 3-6 at Taipei OEC Open in Taiwan.
In the first round, the Belarusian defeated Japan's Misaki Doi 7-6, 1-6, 6-3.
