Aliaksandr Lukashenka dug potatoes in his garden wearing a white $60 Lacoste T-shirt, a merchandise item sold by Serbian tennis player Novak Jakovic. The latter's official website now sells these T-shirts with a discount. Lukashenka was working in front of TV cameras. The footage was aired in the evening on all state TV channels. Lukashenka was seen holding the netted sacks where young model-looking women were unloading their buckets into. Apparently, he was giving them some instructions.
Last year, the head of state was dressed more modestly.
