A drowned man has been found in Italy. To verify the lead, a DNA test was taken from relatives of 33-year-old Belarusian Uladzimir Aldokhin, who went missing in September. His mother Tatsyana told journalists about this.

Aldokhin lived in Vilnius. He last made contact on 10 September, when he told a friend that he was in the city of Livorno (Tuscany). His phone was last active on the network on 13 September.

Uladzimir's mother contacted the Belarusian police, the Lithuanian police, and the Belarusian embassy in Italy. She says it was the consulate that informed her a drowned man had been found in the area. A DNA test is required to establish his identity.

The woman says a DNA test usually takes a month, but they asked for the procedure to be carried out as quickly as possible.

"Our Belarusian police took the test from me. They said the analysis only takes 10 days. Then the results will be passed on to the Investigative Committee", Tatsyana shared.
